You are expected to complete your I-9 with the Office of Human Resources within your first three days of employment. You will not be paid until your I-9 is completed. Please be sure to act on the email that you will receive from [email protected] with subject title "Form I-9 Access for New Hire: Must Complete Prior to Work." Please refer to the email sent to you with details and the list of acceptable documents that you are required to bring to Human Resources to complete the I-9 process.
  • Princeton uses Sprintax Calculus to help international faculty, staff, and students determine U.S. residency status, calculate tax withholding from payments, determine eligibility for tax treaty benefits, generate tax reporting documents. Sprintax Calculus is a tax-software program that collects your tax residency and visa information so Princeton is able to determine how to tax you, and if you are eligible for any tax exemptions due to a tax treaty with your home country. When you join the University, you will automatically be added to Sprintax Calculus.

The system will send you an email with the subject line: Princeton University {{ firstName }}, welcome to Sprintax Calculus.” It will contain your personal login and password information. Sprintax Calculus has single-sign-on function which will allow for easy access for future log-ins. The system will guide you through a series of questions to complete your record. Find more information here.

The E-Quad building is unlocked between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. Please submit a request to have your Tigercard programmed to open the building outside those hours. We will obtain approval from your PI before processing your request.

If you need a key or a replacement key, please submit a request. Lab key requests have to be submitted with a proof of completion of the Laboratory Safety Training. We will obtain approval from your PI before processing your request.

Office and lab keys are issued under the agreement that the holder will reimburse the PQI Department $25 upon failure to return each key issued to them. Lost keys will be replaced at a cost of $25 per loss. The replacement fee must be paid in cash or check prior to the key being re-issued. Excessive requests for replacement keys may result in the need to replace the room core or multiple cores. Many department keys have multiple layer access such as unlocking main doors in addition to individual offices. Lost keys compromise the security of the entire building not just the office to which they are issued. The cost of these re-cores will be the responsibility of the key holder.
